I just got two identical messages purporting to be from ExecutiveAgent.com. Each went to a long, and not identical, list of recipients. I’ve never used the site so my first thought is scam of some sort. Any ideas?
The e-mail:

I dont know much about companies who host web sites but I have a feeling some of these extras being offered are of no use or aren’t worth the money? If someone who knows about this stuff can help I would appreciate knowing what is important to have and what isn’t. Being a reseller of web hosting I can assure you that you are correct. Everything on this page should be free or much much cheaper than this.
Personally, I don’t think you should be any of these add-ons.

you can transfer it if you have all the controls over it, you must have the web application and must know how to install it to your next web host site. Also remember if you know what infrastructure you need to run your script of your control panel, windows, Linux or .php, asp .net, ruby on rails etc..
ask your new web hosting provider

I doubt you can find free web hosting without ads being placed on your site. If you are building a site to make money, then it’s best to pay for your own hosting.

I am tired of the too expensive and too many computers with problems, now days. I have heard of people making a computer, with a computer shell and by buying each computer component individually, and was wondering if there was any websites that sell cheap new, good quality computer parts, I am also new at the “making from scratch” part of computers. If someone could please list the parts that they think that I should buy, I don’t need a computer shell, because I plan on building it directly into a dresser of mine, to save space.
