A guy ran an ad in the newspaper in Jan 09 for a roommate. I began renting giving 0 wk cash, and kids were coming over spending the night, and I had all my stuff in the house, living room, stuff Bank Routing Number Exchange Bank in the bathroom we shared, my own room, etc. I wasn’t under any agreement or anything like that except he told me what he did n didn’t tolerate, 0 ea wk, and that was that. One weekend of 4th of July he went outta town, and my 14 yr old and I had went to bed while fireworks still going off. He woke me up to the house burning to the ground cuz his eyes were burning and the fire woke him. Even as the ceiling fell in on us, we found our way out luckily w/ just our pjs on, and backed up the car and watched the house burn to the ground while we sat there watching them put the fire out. I filled out papers, they questioned us, and it was some electrical fire they found in the end, and Ron (roommate 57 out of town to visit grandkids and daughter) had insurance on house. Anyway, he told me a few days later to make a list of all things I lost in fire, its age, and value, so I did on an Excel spreadsheet, saved it, emailed him a copy of it to give to ins. guy. Well at first ins. guy wanted to know all these things about me and my relationship w/ Ron. Then he was talking about he “might” be able to help me get some money for some of my losses, then he could probably help my son with his losses but not mine, then he changed his story to since my son truly lived with my mom maybe i could talk to her ins co. (which had notta to do w/ notta), then to he can’t do nothing for me b/c of this/that. I was asking Ron weekly by phone/email had he heard anything from ins. co. cuz I would like to at least get some money and get in a place b/c I was homeless w/ nothing living w/ my mom trying to get back on my feet. I never heard anything, occasionally when I’d go check the mail, he would be there, and he would just say he was charging it to ins co. and could never tell if he was lying or not. Within a couple months he had a foundation built, another vehicle, a new modular (brand new), and a new carport and was up on the internet working steadily like the fire never happened while I was still homeless even though I was living with someone I had nothing, nor did his ins co. say they could help me. What I am thinkin’ is it was Ron’s choice whether to give me money on what I lost b/c he did turn that ppr in to the ins. guy and he probably got paid for all my things. I was so upset because I contacted some dept in my state, and they never got back with me, and I also contacted the BBB and they told me I would have to go through my state and when I did the ins. co sent some copy of a paper of who all and what all would be covered if the house caught on fire. Basically there was a section where it listed like relatives, friends, a renter, everything but a roommate was on the paper they had sent in to the BBB on the kind of Ins that Ron had. Now, I want to sue Ron for my things I lost in the fire, and I went online, found the papers to fill out, the papers were made to fill out right then and there and to print them and since they were gov. documents, I had no choice but to print them and couldn’t save them. Now, I have them and it is a SC-100 (Plaintiff’s Claim and ORDER to Go to Small Claims Court). Does anyone have any suggestions on what else I could do to at least gain some of what I lost. I mean I lost everything, and most of the things I did lose like pics of my kids from when they were newborn til present were priceless, however, I did have a few valuable things. I was even an online student at home with a warranty on a Dell Laptop making small pymts to get my AA, and they covered pretty much all damages on the extended warranty I bought except that. I had to drop out of school, and then go back 2 1/2 months later once I was able to mentally put forth the effort, buy a mini laptop, and get wireless internet service through Verizon where I ended up knee deep in a month and my bill with the added mini and new svc agreement for the internet and PC was like 0. What do I do? Do I need to go ahead and go to the court house in the county where I plan to file since I now have these papers printed out sitting in front of me? Does anyone have any better suggestions? Should I ask a free attorney online ? A link to a web site that could possibly help me?

Ok… for starts, Im not shouting in my title… I just need as many opinions as I can get here.
So this is whats going on.. I met this girl back in 08. she became my world. She asked me to go exclusive with her after the second date, and I whent for it, I cut off the girls I was talking to or dating and gave her my undevided attention. She seemed to be everything I was looking for, untill I found out she had been playing me, she was not only still talking to a list of guys, but was exctanging nakid photos and sex talk, flirting and even having sex, she even banged a dude she never new in a burger king parking lot. I was crushed when I found out, but was too attatched and could not leave, we whent threw make up break up crap for like a year, I tried meeting new people and everything, nothing worked. To make it worse, whenever I would find out she was cheeting, and I threatened to leave her, she would fly off the handle, and start, slaping, biting, socking scratching, throwing things at me, she even socked me in the bread basket as hard as she could… she has scratched me blood and bitten me blood, all cuz I would tell her I am leaving after finding out she was cheating. Then she lied to her parrents (I found out later) and told them I was the one cheating and abusing her to save face, she even left me for annother man, but then came back after he got annother girl pregnant. She even kept all the gifts and memories she developed with these guys and tried lieing to me about them and flipped out when I would ask her if she realy planned on keeping them (of course I asked that with an attitude… Im trying to be honest), So now she aked me back, just this last vallentines day, so I met up with her, and after having sex I come to find she is not only cheating with me on a man she left me for and cheated on me with, but she is stringing along 3 other guys she cheated on me in the past with… none of them know about eachother… so she half assed got rid of them as I tried to walk out the door… she wanted me to come back and be exclusive with her. So I posted a question on here about this… and needless to say, annonomously, everyone told me I should get away from her… far away, and of course I did not listen. So… tonight, I told her my real feelings and how I cannot be with her any longer… I told her that 4 things would have to happen if she ever wanted me back;
1)- She would have to change her phone number and email. ( the email and phone number she has is how all these guys keep up with her, and she always tries to say they contact her…
2)- She would have to call all of them and come clean with them how she played them and tell them to never contact her again.
3)- She would have to come clean to her family about what realy has happened threw out this last year.
4)- Her family would have to accept us getting back together.
Her only response was that those four things are stupid and that her family would find out she “is a little slutt” (her words not mine). She told me to ask any one and that any one would tell me my request in an attempt to start out rite as she would say and build trust is rediculouse. She would rather keep the guys hanging without an explination (or keep it open for her to go back to as she did in the past, after everything cools down with us, she starts cheating again), let her family not know the trueth about us than build things up between us. So… after a long fight, like all day fight, I told her that I wanted nothing to do with her any more… to never contact me again and never show up again. I told her that if it is not in her heart to fix what she distroyed, then it would never be in her heart to be true to me. And then I left and left her. But now I need to know if I was wrong…. please.. tell me If I am in the rite, or wrong and why.

You are DEFINITELY right. She beat you up, she cheated on you multiple times, and probably did the same with other guys, then lied to everyone about it and said that it was you, and THEN said that she wouldn’t admit to it. DO NOT GO OUT WITH HER EVER AGAIN.

Q&A: Ebay Help – Furniture Purchase?

I am a little premature but I want to act fairly quick fast since the most of the items are arriving tomorrow.
1. I made a 00 purchase from a single seller on Ebay in 3 different auctions. One of the items was a couch and it was listed as black but said also available in white leather. I wanted it in white to match the chairs I bought from them as well.
2. I paid immediately by paypal and the way the seller is set up you have to check out individually.
3. When I purchased the couch, I missed adding a paypal note to request the couch in white (I always miss that box and realize before it is too late)
4. I immediately sent an email through ebay under the item number of my order outlining the purchase date and other details. I said I would like it is white and asked that they please contact me to confirm they received this message.
5. I received an email the next morning stating the order has been shipped along with my tracking number. Bank Routing Number Jefferson Bank And Trust Company Although there was nothing I could do at this point I contacted the seller asking if he got my message and I never received a response.
6. I have this strong feeling I am not getting the colour I asked for and it is far to expensive to pay to ship back (9), I would be out a brokerage fee (0) and then have to deal with a refund for the duty charges. So I am going to have to keep it either way.
So my questions are:
If the couch is wrong what would you do?
and providing the couch is in white what feedback would you leave? I am frustrated that as a customer making a large purchase I am ignored and stressed like this.
Also, I would like to mention I have another chair on order that has not yet shipped and I fear causing a problem the seller may cancel my order, be difficult etc… and then I am in huge trouble because I will never be able to get the final matching piece. So I want to be careful until I receive everything.
Also, to make matters more frustrating I am building a house and the room is being built to accommodate this furniture in white not black. This is the first time in my life I ever got to have my “dream” set up and now I am feeling a little crushed….

eta: In this case there was no box to specify the colour. A white cover on a leather couch..really? I would have gladly bought this in person but unfortunately it would have cost me at least 2k more. The seller has 100% and excellent feedback.

First, I would go to his eBay store and carefully read his Store Policy. Wait until you receive the couch and if it is the correct color, then you were not really ignored, although their customer service obviously sucks (sorry for the language, but it’s true). If you receive everything the way you ordered it, I would leave a positive feedback, but definitely mention the poor customer service you received. That is so not cool for them to ignore a customer, especially one spending so much money on their merchandise! PS: For future reference, maybe you should avoid shopping for such large items online. It’s always best to see and feel it out before purchasing furniture and such.

Here is my question. I built a computer at a cost of 00 4 months ago thinking I would be using it for gaming. Then, 2 months after I built that I got an Xbox 360. So now my 00 computer is basically a machine I use to check my email and type the occasional paper on. My best estimates say I could get 5 for selling this computer on eBay and then I have a family member that will give me a basic computer for free so I can still check my email. I need the money to buy new hockey equipment but can’t seem to pull the trigger and list the thing on eBay. So, should I sell the gaming computer or pull the trigger and cut my losses?

This man has openly lied to people, sent nasty horrible emails about indiviiduals and eventually that included me. I had a big change of heart no in a good way about this guy about 3 mos ago. Something wasn’t right with him.
He went door to door telling people that he should be voted for the up and coming election for our HOA. He openly called people names, attempted to make some of his neighbors look bad so he could look good. He also made it clear he would not ok property improvement and quickly shot down any attempt on the board to do such. It was like he wanted our property to be crappy and poorly valued.
His home was just listed Bank Routing Number Bank Of Hampton Roads to sell. The bank took it over. He owes more
more than the property is worth. In lieu of a foreclosure the bank is selling his property as a quick pay.
BUT JUST LAST MONTH THIS MAN WAS CAMPAIGNING DOOR TO DOOR TRYING TO BE VOTED ON THE BOARD. .. FORECLOSURES AND THIS TAKE MONTHS TO OCCUR.
I knew this freak was a nut.
